Trickster of the Dark God by Todd Molinari is a constellation of artworks that presents results of a process of letting go, of transition in life, of the constant discovery of the powers that live out their lives in the artist. The artist’s ongoing process of individuation is enacted through ritual and performance, but prior to that it is crucial to stick to the image through visualization of dreams, visions and active imagination. The images, seen through the lens of Western alchemy, propel forward the processes of change and development within the Unconscious.
The artist is in the constant process of leaving behind what was but what is to come has not yet emerged. Undergoing a process of change from within, of beginning to carry the waters of the psyche.
